The indie electro song builds up anticipation, just like that delivery you’ve been waiting for. Finally, and quickly, the chorus drops! And just as quickly as it comes it floats away and you’re returned to another verse. You find yourself wishing for another correspondence, and as the wind picks …

Beat Lab Reviews – Fresh Tracks of the Week October 26th, 2018

Beat Lab Reviews – Fresh Tracks of the Week October 26th, 2018 This week we’ve got a majority of hip-hop but two of the songs are electronic inspired songs that sit comfortably in their places. Clean production, smooth rhymes, laid-back vibes, and hype beats. These are the Fresh Tracks of the Week. Listen below. su_divider top=”no” divider_color=”#d2d2d2″ size=”1″ Hadron Sounds – Let Me Live My Life ft. Soroya Grosso The song opens with loads of attitude, then ebbs and flows between a rock anthem and pop-filled indie electronic jam. What starts out as a saxophone tone morphs into a growling bass with a short wubby breakdown. We return to the nearly-ska swang chorus halfway through the song before breaking into a piano ballad that lulls us into a soft sense of security…THEN BAM. We’re back to the wholly catchy chorus. It never misses a beat, listen below.    Bobby J From …

Beat Lab Reviews – Fresh Tracks of the Week October 12th, 2018

Beat Lab Reviews – Fresh Tracks of the Week October 12th, 2018 This week we’ve got more fresh tracks for you – funk, glitch, some IDM, Shoegaze, and they’re all fresh as hell. Listen below!   su_divider top=”no” divider_color=”#d2d2d2″ size=”1″   Hyphen ft. Josh Tenor – Futuristic London based rapper Hyphen brought us this funkalicious conscious rap song. The music video is a fun visual journey (and futuristic) as neon lights cast the actors (featuring the rapper and singer Josh Tenor) in a funky glow. The saxophone hugs us lovingly as Josh Tenor’s vocal line flows in and out singing “Where do I go?” It’s a thought-provoking question and he says what most of us feel with, “I do not know”. One thing we do know – you’ll enjoy this song, watch below.   su_youtube_advanced url=”https://youtu.be/h5ncKkLgzTs” showinfo=”no” rel=”no” modestbranding=”yes” https=”yes” /su_youtube_advanced   Bels Lontano – At the Horizon Bels Lantano hits us …

Beat Lab Reviews – Fresh Tracks of the Week October 5th, 2018

Beat Lab Reviews – Fresh Tracks of the Week October 5th, 2018 Welcome back! We’ve missed you. This week’s Fresh Tracks include a psychedelic rock adventure from Lukka, a dope trip-hop song track by Tensorplex, a laid-back funk song by Caius, a spooky indie song from Peeve, and a refreshing rap banger by TuReal. Listen below! su_divider top=”no” divider_color=”#d2d2d2″ size=”1″   Lukka – Black Hole Fusion “I am I am I am” is one of the lines repeated during this psychedelic sonic adventure from Lukka. What opens with an atmospheric drone and an eerie melody reminiscent of your favorite Saturday morning cartoon suddenly transforms into a trip down memory lane into the 60’s. The melody is taken over by a running bassline that supports the vintage sheen that engulfs the entire piece, and it’s delightful. The drums tie every instrument together and seal the deal on the old school feel Lukka is …

Beat Lab Reviews – Fresh Tracks of the Week September 28, 2018 We’re back with Fresh Tracks of the Week. Below we have some EDM bangers, some indie rock glory, some synthpop madness, and some laid back house tunes. Enoy this week’s edition of Fresh Tracks. su_divider top=”no” divider_color=”#d2d2d2″ size=”1″ Nala – Telepathy Nala just dropped a new single, a laid-back house song “Telepathy” which is full of character. Pulsating bass jellies with syncopated percussion rhythms in the background which pushes the vibe of the song toward something very primal and tribal. The song is as experimentally delicious and her own as much as her previous works. It’s hard not to groove to the swing of the beat and her caressing vocals. Listen below.     Slenderbodies – the one Smooth, sultry, and thumpin’ are a few words you could use to describe Slenderbodies’ newest single, “the one”. Shimmery guitars …
