KVR Audio Announces 2018 Developer Challenge

KVR Audio just announced their 2018 Developer Challenge, their seventh audio plug-in/audio application/soundware design competition. To enter you must create a completely new plugin/application/soundpack/sound library that can benefit the music community and release it for free. KVR members will vote on the entries and decide on the winner based on their definition of the best submission. This is where creativity counts the most, the plugin could be extremely innovative in the user interface or maybe it has a simple interface but is a killer under the hood. Play to your strengths, embrace your weaknesses, and have fun!

Five winners will be selected to receive a cash prize along with a sixth ‘wildcard’ winner. The amount of prize money will be determined and funded by the KVR community via the Developer Challenge 2018 Donation Pool. Other sponsored prizes will be announced by KVR soon. Additionally, software prizes will be awarded to those who donate to the competition.

KVR will be accepting submissions up to and through August 30; All submissions will then be hosted for download on the KVR server and released simultaneously for public appraisal and voting.
