Beat Lab Beat Cypher – Open to Public

This Friday, December 8th, we are opening our Beat Lab Academy Beat Cypher to the public! Come flex your beatmaking skills with us by trying to complete a beat in 3 hours, the person with the hardest beat will win a FREE download of Polyverse’s new plugin Gatekeeper. Gatekeeper is an extremely powerful tool which “can act as an LFO, envelope, step sequencer, sample-accurate volume automation and more.” Join us Friday to participate in the Cypher and your chance to win.

Mikey Wiener aka Mikey Backpack will be hosting and leading the evening, he’ll give you samples to choose from (you have to use AT LEAST one sample). The beat you make must be AT LEAST one minute long, and the tempo must be in the chosen BPM. We work in 3 hour-long sessions with 2 breaks in between, and at the end of the third hour, we will all share our beats. Simple as that.
